Although economist predict Bali’s national economy to grow up to 7% in 2016, the island’s main staple, tourism, is still struggling to balance expansion while maintaining culture authenticity. The projected influx in visitors comes with the pressure to make infrastructure improvements, and promote environmentally sustainable practices.
